Delivery of oxygen to tissue is an essential function of the microcirculation and plays an important role in tumor treatment. A simple capillary model and Krogh tissue model is coupled to investigate the effect of blood flow through a capillary on the oxygen distribution. The primary results show that when the capillary radius is small, the effect of vessel shape may have not significant effect on the oxygen distribution. However, with the capillary radius increasing, the effect of vessel shape on the oxygen transport becomes obvious
