Amplitude modulation of broadband chaotic signals is introduced, similar to amplitude modulation of harmonic signal. Necessary conditions for modulation and demodulation of chaotic carrier are discussed. In particular, the type of chaotic carrier is discussed from the point of view of optimal demodulation.
