In this research, we investigate the collective decision and analyze its emergent properties. We especially provide the evolutionary explanations of the collective decision motivated by the works of the theory of complex systems. A complex system, as a collective designation for large-scale and complex nonlinear systems, is defined as the group of a large number of self-interested agents. The collective behavior that emerged from the local and purposive interactions with self-interested agents is investigated as complex systems.
