This abstract will explore #ElectionClass is, a course on social media and the 2012 election offered by the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. It will provide an overview of the course structure of #ElectionClass, asThe course involves in-class tweeting, analysis of the real presidential election, as well as a mock campaign project.
