My research project investigates Korean international students’ socializing pattern. There are two research questions: Is there a specific socializing pattern exist among Korean international students at University of Illinois? What kind of factors effect on Korean international students’ socializing patterns? I conducted one interview with Korean international student and a few field observations at cafes on campus. I found that Korean international students have a tendency to socialize with people who are like them. An ethnicity, cultural backgrounds, a language use and special environmental characteristics of U of I are the factors that effect on Korean international students’ socializing.unpublishednot peer reviewe
