In this project, the circuit model of a straight 3-line PLC system with a pure TEM input signal has been deduced. The detail process of modeling, the assumptions we made and its mathematical expression will be showed. The radiation field (E & H fields) of a given point in the near field space has been calculated with the help of Matlab program. Due to the limitation of time, we only did the simplest case of the PLC radiation problems. Further research work may proceed to the PLC system with a bend, or a non pure TEM mode signal radiation calculation
