Abstract- The dependence of viscosity behavior on volume loadings of well dispersed Alumina – polyvinyl butyral (Al-PVB) tape casting slurry by varying particle sizes has been studied at constant shear rate 4 sec-1 with the help of a conventional couette device. The slurry under constant shear rate showed an interesting behavior of suspensions with time and volume change by varying the particle size. From the experimental study, it has been observed that on increasing the volume loadings of the suspensions, viscosity also increased; however the rate of increase in viscosity in beginning is much more at constant shear rate 4sec-1.
