This paper will discuss some of the syntactic properties of determiners and the problems associated with them, and will suggest a syntactic analysis that focuses mainly on the similarities between determiners and nouns. Even though the focus of this paper will be primarily on numerals, most of what will be said can be extended to other determiners1 as well.
