Abstract —In today’s world, robotics automation system play a vital role, it is actually an arrangement of different elements in order to regulate, direct, sense and command itself to achieve the desired result. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to describe the development of a robot for surveillance able to move in structured and unstructured environments and able to overcome obstacles with high energetic efficiency. Shrimp III's mechanical architecture provides it with an incredible mobility. It is able to easily move in very challenging terrain, overcome vertical obstacles of twice its wheel size, and it can even climb stairs! It does not "know" that it is climbing an obstacle.
