Besides of cultural, linguistic, and physical characteristic comparisons, genetic tools have become one of the most powerful methods to study the relationships and migration pattern of human populations. The question about the dispersal of Austronesian has remained controversial among the papers studied by different discipline, but Taiwan indigenous populations always play the important role.
