Numerous instructional design theories and models offer guidance regarding how to better help people learn and develop. Rather than approaching instructional design from an "only theory one is correct " perspective that is common in many scientific fields, each theory or model should be viewed as but tools in a suite of options, addressing cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains.
