ABSTRACT. We have developed a beta-spectrometric method and software for rapid determination of 90Sr in milk, water, urine, soil, ash, hot particles and soil. We used a Wallac 1220TM Quantulus low-level liquid scintillation (LS) spectrometer and several types of standard cocktails for this purpose. Minimum detectable activities are as follows: milk = 3.7 Bq liter 1
