The manuscript examines the history of the Jewish community in the village of Erlenbach, now incorporated into Dahn, from 1760 through the post-World War II period. The manuscript is broken into short sections on the economic and occupational make-up of the community, the history of the community's institutions (synagoge, mikveh, cemetery in Busenberg), information on notable community functionaries, and the history of the persecutions during the National Socialist regime. The manuscript closes with some remarks on controversies and memorial work during the post-war period. Each section is richly illustrated with photographs and reproductions of documents.Otmar WeberProcessed for digitizationSent for digitizationReturned from digitizationLi...
