Abstract. This paper describes an approach to Question Answering (QA) that uses the linguistic infor-mation available in lexical resources like FrameNet, PropBank or VerbNet to find on the web, answers to natural language questions. The approach is realized in a system I am currently developing. The paper gives a preliminary evaluation and reports on initial experiences that reveal the challenges still ahead.
