A 2 (immediate vs. delayed feedback) X 3 (low, moderate, and high reading ability) quasi-experimental study was done to evaluate immediate versus delayed feedback effects on reading performance measures such as sentence and passage comprehension, as well as reading speed. Sixty-seven students in third and fifth grades participated in this study that lasted for six months. The treatment effect showed that students in the immediate feedback condition were significantly superior on measures of passage comprehension and composite comprehension.
