Abstract – This paper presents a novel modification of incremental Hough transform, its features and hardware implementation. The main benefit of the proposed algorithm and its implementation in PLD is increasing of parallelism of computing by factor of 2 comparing to original incremental Hough transform and by factor of 4 comparing to standard Hough transform. Another benefit of the proposed modification is increasing of accuracy of computing by 50 % in comparison to original incremental Hough transform
