Objective: To develop an extension of the CONSORT (Consoli-dated Standards of Reporting Trials) Statement for trials of non-pharmacologic treatments. Design: A consensus meeting was organized to develop an exten-sion of the CONSORT Statement that addresses randomized trials of nonpharmacologic treatments.
