The electrochemical performance of vapor deposited fullerene (C60) on carbon paste electrode (CPE), by physical vapor deposition method (PVD) has been assessed. Fullerene deposited at different thickness and their voltammetric response to ferricyanide and dopamine are examined. Scanning electron microscopy was used to characterize surface morphology of C60/CPE. The cyclic voltammetric studies reveal that the electrocatalytic activity depends on thickness of the fullerene film deposited. We found that catalytic activity slightly enhances when thickness of fullerene film maintained 3 angstrom onto CPE.
