Background: Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS) is the most common cancer seen in subjects with acquired immunodeficiency syn-drome (AIDS). KS etiology and pathogenesis are still ill de-fined, and no definite improvement in survival has been ob-tained with current chemotherapeutic regimens.
