Blogging, keeping personal diaries (logs) on the Internet, is a new publication channel allowing in principle anyone to express their thoughts to a worldwide audience without any editorial interfering layers. This new publication channel is very crucial to politicians too. What they say on their blogs can critically affect their popularity as politicians, both in good and bad. Neglecting the new media can be costly, especially if a contact with the young generations is looked for.
