1 A Transformational Approach for Legacy Systems ’ evolution

Abstract:- The evolution of the Legacy Information Systems (LIS) is a critical issue for many organizations world wide. A Large number of organizations for their daily activities depend on the business critical applications that have been developed over the last two decades or more. They mostly run on old software and hardware technology tools and environments. They are hard to modify, expensive to maintain and difficult to integrate with new technology tools and programs. They need to be evolved into modern environments.
