Abstract: Hydroformylation of 1-dodecene catalyzed by the complex of tri-(methoxyl polyethylene glycol)-phosphite (TMPGP) and RhCl3⋅3H2O was studied in PEG biphasic system. The effects of reaction temperature, total pressure and reaction time on the hydroformylation were investigated. Under the conditions of T=120oC, P=5.0MPa, t=3h, IBS/Rh=1000(molar ratio) and P/Rh=13(molar ratio), the conversion of 1-dodecene and aldehyde yield reached 96.2 % and 94.7%, respectively. The Rh/TMPGP complex catalyst recycled for six times without loss of activity
