Abstract The paper presents three procedures for the sensitivity analysis using auxiliary circuits: the Bykhovsky Perkins Cruz’s method, the incremental-circuit approach and the adjoint-circuit approach. All methods, based on the auxiliary circuits, have needed an efficient partially-symbolic method for the circuit analysis. For this, it was elaborated a very good procedure for the partially-symbolic analysis of the circuits based on the modified nodal equations and on the semi-state equations. This method was implemented in a program- SYCIAN – Symbolic Circuit Analysis. SYCIAN program can analysis together the original circuit and the auxiliary circuit for the complex linear time-invariant analog circuits. In this paper we will show that ...
