Global University System (GUS) (Utsumi, et al, 2003) aims to create a worldwide consortium of universities and healthcare institutions to provide the underdeveloped world with global e-learning and e-healthcare/telemedicine via broadband Internet technologies. The aim is to achieve “education and healthcare for all ” anywhere, anytime and at any pace. Education and job skills are the keys in determining a nation’s wealth and influence.
