BOOK REVIEW Environmental Epidemiology: Exposure and Disease

for Environment and Health convened a meeting of epidemiologists at the beginning of 1993 to identify topics of priority in environmental epidemiology; this book is the outcome. (A description of the consider-ations involved in the priority setting can be found (1).) As the conclusions over the priorities for each topic are not especially ground breaking, most interest in the book will be focused on the working papers presented that in themselves are useful overviews of areas of research that normally have little direct inter-action with one another, even though they have the distinction of sharing the same environmental um-brella.
