Proceedings a/the 9th International Symposium on Buckwheat, Prague2004 Varietal Differences of Rutin in Common Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) Determined by MiceJlar Electrokinetic CapiHary Chromatography

In year 2000 we evaluateddifferences in the rutin content among varieties of common buckwheatand the influence of nitrogen fertilization on rutin content in buckwheat and with help micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography. The most of rutin was cumulated in flowers and slightly less in leaves at stage of full flowering. The rutin contentwas influencedby variety in all plant parts. Some varieties cumulated more rutin in flowers and the others in leaves. The nitrogen fertilization had antagonistic influenceon rutin content in achenes. The rutin content in leaves had positiverelationship with rutin content in stems and achenes
