The paper describes the basic tendencies of gender policy in employment. Based on the analysis of modern works the results of research on gender differences at interpersonal level, in issues of productivity and labor remuneration, career growth are stated. The results of research on gender stereotypes among Russian SME managers and also their realization in HRM procedures are given.
