ABSTRACT: in this paper, we're interested in the problem of evaluating, analyzing and synthesizing information delivered by multiple sources about the same badly known variable. We focus on two ap-proaches that can be used to solve the problem, a probabilistic and a possibilistic one. They are rst described and then applied to the results of uncertainty studies performed in the framework of the OECD BEMUSE project. Usefulness and advantages of the proposed methods are discussed and emphasized in the lights of obtained results.
