For a number of years we have recommended the Biblical Counseling Foundation’s manual currently titled Self-Confrontation: a manual for in-depth discipleship. However, with our growing concern about the biblical counseling movement, we have taken another look at the manual as an integral part of the counseling training program offered by the Biblical Counseling Foundation (BCF). We express many of our concerns about the growing biblical counseling movement in our book Against Biblical Counseling: For the Bible, which could have been titled FOR THE BIBLE, but Against Biblical Counseling, since FOR THE BIBLE is truly the thrust of our book.
