In 2004 a new atlas product was published by Weldon OwenThe Illustrated World Atlas. This atlas is an entirely new product, and was conceived, designed and produced for global publication. The atlas is intended to provide a contemporary picture of the world and it is aimed at the general map user market. The compilation and production process involved bringing-together a group of experts, globally, who contributed their skills and knowledge to the project.
