TQoS: Transactional QoS-driven Selection for Web Service Composition

Composite Web services are often long-running, loosely coupled and cross-organizational applications. For such applications, advanced support is required to ensure quality reliable execution. This paper addresses the issue of selecting and composing Web services not only according to their functional requirements but also to their behavioral properties (e.g. transactions) and QoS characteristics. In our approach, Web services are selected in a way satisfying user preferences.
