Peeler Creek is a perennial stream located in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River basin in Davie County, North Carolina. The reach of Peeler Creek and UT to Peeler Creek to be restored is approximately 5377 feet in length owned by John Thomas Peeler and Rebecca L. Peeler. Existing Peeler Creek is an incised sand bed C5/G5 stream. The 3.83 square mile watershed contributing drainage to the stream restoration segment is located in a rural setting. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has established 100-year water surface elevations and no-encroachment limits on Peeler Creek.
