A method for analysing time-use heterogeneity in a sample of individuals at a given time is investigated. It permits enquiring into the relative strength of the determinants of the allocation of time in creating individual-level differences. As a by-product, the method provides a system-wide goodness-of-fit measure for singular systems of demand equations
