Idiopathic unilateral diaphragmatic paralysis is a rare condition that typically causes minimal symptoms, especially during exercise. Several reports indicated progressive improvement or even complete recovery to normal function of diaphragmatic paralysis that complicated various thoracic and extrathoracic conditions.
