One considers the contents of a document from 1927 which belongs to the archive material of the Serbian Orthodox Church and where the introducing of the calendar reform according to the project of Maksim Trpkovic (1864-1924) was proposed and its advantages over the modification done at the Panorthodox Congress in Constantinople in 1923 by Milutin Milankovic (1879-1958) were emphasized. After the First World War the Gregorian Calendar was adopted by many states.
