This paper presents the third year of analysis of the performance and progress of students in the Secondary Numeracy Project (SNP), measured against the Number Framework. With the SNP in its third year of implementation in 2007, comparisons can be made with the effects of the SNP for students in 2005 and 2006. The fi ndings indicate that the SNP continues to have a positive impact on student achievement in year 9. Consistent with previous fi ndings, signifi cant shifts were achieved in raising the proportion of the student population rated at the top stages of all domains of the Number Framework.
