Abstract- Pome aspects of the recent progress in plasma-particle heat transfer study are reviewed with emphasis on heat transfer mechanisms, effects of the Knudsen number on the heat transfer and some other com-plicated factors related to the plasma-particle heat transfer. Although conduction/convection is the main heat transfer mechanism, sometimes one has to consider many other mechanisms and complicated factors such as radiation, ion-electron recombination at the particle surface, the Knudsen effect, particle evaporation, plasma-particle interactions, etc. Heat transfer expressions for different heat transfer regimes from continuum to FXF are proposed and compared with corresponding experimental data.
