The purpose of this talk is to introduce: • Several types of neutron transport problems in the practical arena of nuclear engineering, • The types of computational methods that currently exist and are on the drawing board for solving these problems. I will try to emphasize the special features of practical neutron transport problems and algorithms that differ from those in other areas of physics
