Computer based education approach is used as a learning tool to demonstrate statistical quality control concepts and their industrial applications for engineering students. An educational package has been built and used for regular students and for senior engineers attending training courses. The experience shows that this tool is very effective to accelerate the pace of learning and most importantly as a problem solving procedure. Improvements of the package are still undergoing to incorporate web-based technologies (Internet home page, HTML, Java programming etc…)
