Is Asia different? New Evidence on the Globalization – Inflation Nexus

This paper brings new evidence on the link between globalization and inflation. Looking at the evidence for the 1980 – 2006 period, it is shown that globalization pressures are felt every where, though intensities differ between the Asian developing countries and the OECD members.
