The FAO Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries aims at establishing principles and criteria for the elaboration and implementation of national policies for sustainable fisheries management and development. This objective consists in the identification of correct policy measures on the fish market, which have a strategic consequence on Maximum Sustainable Yield. The paper attempts at providing an investigation through the time series method into small pelagic fisheries in the some areas of the Italian Adriatic Sea; the investigation is applied to landed captures and prices.
