NUCLEAR EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDONESIA FOR IMPROVING PUBLIC ACCEPTANCE. Indonesia is one of the developing countries, embarking nuclear power plant (NPP) that is expected to operate in year 2017. Despite the fact that government has already planned since 1970 at Muria Peninsular central of Java, many protestors have voiced out their displeasure against the program. A lot of negative views are presented by opponent groups, the people who stay nearby the site and large portion of the public. One of the main factors for this reason is lack of knowledge and education about NPP. The systematic approach in nuclear education will overcome these situations.
