Abstract: This paper provides overview of the strategies in the industrial sector that would contribute to a considerable energy conservation and thus reduction of GHG emissions in Korea. It discusses main elements of ‘Five year energy conservation program for energy intensive industries’, ‘Voluntary Agreement program’, industrial energy audit, and financial loan program. It concludes with future challenge of Korea. 1.
