This master thesis addresses the problem with Bluetooth interference on IEEE 802.11b networks. The maximum ratio combining and the interference rejection combining algorithm's, two methods for reducing this interference have been evaluated. The methods are evaluated with a simulated receiver using two antennas, and then compared with an ordinary receiver using one antenna. The results are presented in terms of bit error rate and throughput. The simulation results show that adding spatial diversity yields a signif-icant reduction in bit error rate.
