Streaming media applications are becoming more pop-ular on the late years, as for example, news transmitted live through the web, music, show, and lms. Traditional client/server architectures have shown to be inefcient for distributing streaming media services. The total number of users is limited due to the demand of computational re-sources, which are higher than in traditional web applica-tions.
