Introduction. The extent to which universality is displayed by edge plasma turbulence in toroidal magnetically confined plasmas is an important but unresolved issue [1, 2]. The iden-tification of universal features requires the comparison of turbulence properties for a range of operational regimes in a range of confinement systems.
