Abstract –- A novel wavelength conversion scheme using differential cross polarization modulation (DXPoM) is proposed. Compared with the conventional XPoM, DXPoM exhibits over 300 % rise time improvement, 50 % timing jitter reduction and 9 % higher extinction ratio.
