Solidly defined and comprehensive graphical representation of biological networks is essential for efficient and accurate representation and dissemination of biological models. Nevertheless, there has been no standard graphical representation accepted in the community. In this paper, we intent to propose a system of graphical representation of biological networks that can be a basis of de fact standard of the community. Careful analysis of biological models revealed that a set of diagrams are necessary to fully describe interactions of proteins and genes, as well as to describe processes of biological events without compromising accuracy and readability. 1
