Abstract — This paper presents a methodology for the re-jection of multiple narrow band disturbances using a direct adaptive feedback control approach and without requiring the use of an additional transducer. The direct adaptive control scheme is based on the internal model principle and the use of the Youla-Kucera parametrization of the controller which allows a direct updating of the internal model in the controller. The performance of the methodology is evaluated on the Bodson model for the case of simultaneous application of several unknown time varying sinusoidal disturbances.
