In 2001 we have examined 402 persons which were hospitalized in 1993-1997 in the Center of Infectious Pathology with the diphtheria diagnosis. Anamnesis was collected of all of them and blood analysis was made. Those who had diphtheria were divided into the following groups: The amount of well and best protected is the highest among those inoculated unplanned before the disease and further uninoculated, who had serotherapy (65%), a second place is occupied by pre-disease planned inoculated and further uninoculated (46%). This index is the lowest in pre-disease uninoculated and further inoculated (9%).
